cyprus wind for kitesurfing
Cyprus enjoys a Mediterranean climate with hot dry summers from mid-May to mid-September and mild, sometimes rainy winters from November to mid-March, separated by short autumn and spring seasons. Snow falls frequently every winter on the Troodos mountain range. The coldest month is January (6ºC - 15ºC) and the hottest months are July and August (29ºC – 36ºC). Constant winds with force of 5-6 bft. (16-24 knots) are common during the summer period (May to September) and with force of 5-7 bft. (17-30 knots) during the winter period (November-March). You can enjoy these ideal conditions for kitesurfing 3-4 times a week. Fantastic beaches and scenery complement the whole kitesurfing experience, making it an unforgettable one!
